Scripture Tiles

I was asked to make 12 tiles with the scriptures about the birth of our Savior.  Here are some pictures of them that I made.  I used the Plantin School House cartridge with vinyl.

Nativity Wreath

I cut out this beautiful little nativity wreath using the "It's cold outside" cartridge.  The paper is DCWV simmer collection.  I made it for a friend of mine who put together a huge nativity display for our church.

Merry Christmas Kitty

I fell in love with these two little digi's from MyGrafico. Which you can find here!   I combined the two images together.  I colored them with Bic markers using the "Copic" techniques.  The background is made by paper piercing.  The colored background is from Debbie Mumm's harvest collection and finished off with a ribbon.  I also put a drop of stickles on his nose so it would "shine".

Snowglobe

I made this snowglobe with Stretch my imagation.  The clear globe is cut out of a page protector.  The snow was made by rubbing two syrofoam balls together.  The little snowman is made out of a piece of material glued onto cardstock.  I used stickles to make him sparkle

A Whale Of A Tale

My son has been asking me for a little while to make him a bookmark.  When I saw this cute little whale from MyGrafico's collection I had to do it.  I used DCWV paper and colored the whale with bic pens.  I laminated it so it would last a little longer for him.

Cuttlebug Challenge #57

This weeks Challenge was a Sketch Challenge and dedicated to our Hero's.... Our Soldiers. I picked this image because it means so much to me. I had purchased it to help on a fund raiser for Meningitis. This is near to my heart as I lost my little angel to meningitis when he was 11 days old. Born on Christmas morn. He would be 29 this year. The second reason this was my favorite is my son is a soldier and I'm making cards for his single buddies to send home for Christmas. The last of course all my friends know. I LOVE SNOWMEN!!!! I colored him with Bic pens using the wonderful techniques we learned over the last couple of weeks in the Copic University. Thanks for all the help. I used the Snowflake folder for the circle.

Be Inspired #56 Give Thanks

The challenge this week over on Cuttlebug Challenge is to create a Thanksgiving or Gratitude project of your choosing. I chose to make a stair step card using Annie Langs digi art. I colored the images with water colored pencils and Bic pens. I colored a couple of each image so I could layer them to give them dimension . I used the Floral Screen Cuttlebug Folder on the card. I put some glaze on the vegetables and Martha Stewarts white glitter on the vegetables that are on the serving plate. I just love Annie Langs art. I am thankful for all my friends and family and thoroughly enjoy this time of year. I must say between Halloween and Christmas I have too much fun decorating and celebrating.

December Birthday Cards

I used the snowflake, swiss dot and happy birthday folders. Martha Stewart punch.

Birthday Cards for November

I used these cute little clowns from KLM Digital Designs. I colored them with Bic pens and colored pencils. I used the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge for the cards and frames. I also used Martha Stewarts glitter.

Pumpkin Template

I used the freebie from Paper Popsicles to make this little pumpkin. I cut different sized papers from my scraps and pieced it together. Then I sewed around each piece. I put another pumpkin on the inside to cover up the stitches.

My Favorite Things

All my friends know, I love snowmen. In fact I'm crazy about them. I made this card with the following folders: snowflakes, and swiss dots. I used the Martha Stewart punch. The sweet little image I did paper piecing to make it dimensional.

Ohhhhh I'm sooo Scared

This card just makes me laugh! I fell in love with this wonderful stamp by House-Mouse. I colored the image with colored pencils and gel pen. The teeth I used white out to give them some texture. Then I took my exacto knife and made the teeth pointed. I used Stretch your imagination and paper doll cartridges for the card, boo frame all cuts and the little bat. I embossed the side of the card with Martha Stewarts embossing powder. The font is called Halloween-bats. The paper is from Debbie Mumm's Holiday and Harvest pack. (The clip on the first picture is just to hold it closed for photographing.)

Autumn Just Buggin' Challenge #8

I made this card with the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge on the Cricut . The image is from Squiggle Fly. I colored him with Bic markers, colored pencils and gel pens. The paper is from DCWV and Debbie Mumm's Holiday and Harvest collection.

Happy Halloween

This cute little guy is from Digital Pencil Too. I used the Haunted House folder and the Happy Halloween die cut and embossing folder. I colored my little friend with Bic marker. The paper is from DCWV. I used Gel pens and water color pencils to highlight the Happy Halloween and pumpkin. The glitter is from Martha Stewart. (I just love her little glue applicator!) I wish you could see the house better. No matter how I took the picture it was hard to see. But looks great on the card! I was inspired By Betty Bee on this card from one she did a couple of weeks ago. I just loved the Haunted House folder and the little kids.

Here's Witching You A Happy Halloween

The shoe template is from Paper Popsicle. I just love it you can use it for so many idea.... I used Debbie Mumm's Holiday and Harvest paper. Little swirly brads for the shoes laces. I went outside and found a little stick to make the broom and them cut some of my little hula dancer skirt off in the back to make the bristles (hope she doesn't mind it's a little thinner back there. LOL). I used the swiss dot Cuttlebug folder to give my sign that was computer generated some texture. Inside I used a computer generated saying and matted it with the same paper. I was inspired to do this one from the shape card challenge a couple of weeks ago on Cuttlebug Challenge.

Autumn Blessings

This cute little guy is from Digital Pencils too. There's nothing like the fall harvest. I colored the little guy with Bic markers and water color pencils. The paper I used was from Debbie Mumm's Harvest and Holiday's. I sewed around the patches to give it a homey feel. The inside of the card I used the Cuttlebugs Halloween die cut. The Happy fall is computer generated and colored in with the Bic markers. I was inspired by June Houck the way she layered her papers and fall.

Delightful Sketches #9 Spooky Town

I used Debbie Mumm's Harvest and Holiday Paper. The cute little image is from Digital Delights Friday freebie.. I used Bic markers to color her. I cut the image out using Fiskars oval template. I smeared a little stickles around the image to give it some sparkle.

Just Buggin' Challenge #7 Flag

My son-in-law volunteered me to make his teams flag at work. He was suppose to make a planet and then make a flag for it. He came up with Greggyton. He told me what he envisioned and this is what we came up with. The strips I used the Fisker edge tearer for a pattern and the little "aliens" I cut out with Paper Doll Dress up on my Cricut. I pasted the material to a piece of card stock and then cut it out. Boy did that work well. Then I sewed on the sequins to give it glitz.

Funky Fairy Challenge # 38 GD

I made this card with the Blue Christmas paper from Funky Fairy. The challenge was to make a card with no image. I used the Fiskars "UFO" to cut the star out. I also used paper from DCWV I sewed the strip paper down and used little rhinestones to give extra glitter. The stamps I'm not sure who their by.. Just had in my collection... LOL

Delightful Sketches Challenge #8

I did Maggie May for this sketch challenge. I just love her and the important message she gives. I colored her with Bic pens using the "Copic" blending technique. The paper is from DCWV. I used miscellaneous ribbon that I had. The flowers are from a center piece I did for a party (can't waste anything). I used stickles for the flowers on her dress and a gel glitter pen for the breast cancer ribbons.

Card Swap & Pollycraft Challenge #26 Teal, Chocolate & Tangerine

I did this little card (actually 7 of them. lol) for a Dustin Pike card swap on the Cricut board. The paper is from DCWV, of course Dustin Pike Snowman image. I colored the image with Bic pens using the "Copic" blending technique. Inside stamp from House Mouse and Teal stickles to make it glitter. I used Martha Stewarts all around snowflake punch. The inside snowflakes are the leftovers from the front.

Tatted Christmas Card

I tatted the snowflake with Royale Fine Crochet Thread #20. The poinsettia is from Fred She Said. I used stickles to make it glitter and the middle has flower flock. The paper is from Debbie Mumm. I used dimensional glue dots to attach the snowflake. It can be taken off the card to use as a ordainment. I used the Martha Stewart all around snowflake punch around the edge and ribbon I picked up from Big Lots.

Be Inspired #53 Color Challenge... My Debut as a Guest Designer

For this card, I printed out my Turkey from Seasons of Thanks, by Colleen Parry , four times, and colored each layer, putting him together with dimensional dots, so that he stands right out from the card. His "nest" is punched from the Martha Steward branch punch in our color challenge colors!! For the background I chose black and ivory DCWV paper (again our challenge colors) and used the Martha Steward Doily edge punch, and punched each layer, with the last layer having room for the Cuttlebug Embossing with the "With Love" border folder. To add brilliant shine and texture I carefully touched the raised lettering with Versamark and heat embossed black MS embossing powder on the With Love and flourish. The strips are 2 inches wide. I start with the bottom strip hanging over the edge of my card and work on up to the top where I cut the last strip to be even with the fold of the card. Last, I tied a matching bow on the left, for just the right touch of color. The insid
